At C. Lee Services, we practice pipe lining services with advanced and modern equipment. With this technology at our disposal, we are able to rehabilitate pipes from the inside, avoiding digging trenches and encouraging faster, more reliable results. Our customers in Summit County, Ohio can trust in the quality of our work, and we guarantee that the solution our plumber in Akron, OH, and nearby areas will recommend to fix the problem will be comprehensive and long-lasting.
HOW WE DETERMINE IF PIPE LINING IS NEEDED
To ensure that the work is done properly, our pipe lining process is prefaced with inspection and cleaning services. Through these steps, we can diagnose the problem, how severe it is, and offer the preferred solution. We use small, waterproof cameras to assess the damage, and by inserting these cameras directly into the pipes, our team is able to accurately determine what is needed to fix the problem.
After we have located all areas of concern, we clean the pipe of debris and waste. This is especially important in the lining process as it ensures that the epoxy resin will adhere to the pipeline smoothly and without any waste getting in the way.
PIPE LINING SYSTEMS OUR THE HAMMERHEAD EQUIPMENT
C. Lee Services utilizes the HammerHead® lateral lining rehabilitation process. This process can be used in a variety of gravity and pressure applications such as sanitary sewers, storm sewers, process piping, electrical conduits and ventilation systems.
With this equipment, we can renew pipes from the inside by injecting a liner saturated with epoxy resin into the pipe. The liner is inserted through a cleanout, and after it is placed in position and inflated, the expansion allows the resin to coat the inside of the pipe, filling cracks and leaks while masking any corrosion. The curing process requires approximately a few hours, and afterwards, the result is the epoxy resin forming the new liner.
THE BENEFITS OF PIPE LINING
Our HammerHead equipment gives us the capability of repairing broken pipes, eliminating tree roots, bridging missing portions of pipelines, and ensuring that infiltration and exfiltration isn’t a problem. Our equipment can be deployed to fix a variety of pipeline materials, including cast iron, clay, ABS, concrete, and PVC, making it a versatile tool. We are able to restore pipes of any diameter, as well as systems that include 22°, 45°, and sweeping 90° bends, and pipe diameter transitions. Other benefits of our equipment being deployed to conduct pipe lining repairs include:
- Minimally invasive
- Eco-friendly
- Consumes less energy
- Speeds up the pipe lining process
While conventional, dig-and-replace processes require pipes to be cut out of the system and manually removed in a process that can take several days and increase the cost of restoration, our HammerHead lining system allows us to complete repairs in a single day without the excess damage, keeping repair costs low and affordable for our Summit County, Ohio customers.
